This year’s HIA Cairns - Pioneer North Queensland Housing, Kitchen & Bathroom Awards program highlighted the latest examples of modern trends in new home, kitchen and bathroom design.

The sensational team at Eastbuild Designer Homes showcased the very best examples of workmanship that our builders and cabinetmaker members can provide.

In our own Cairns community design and décor are changing all the time, Eastbuild Designer Homes’ excellence is clearly displayed with new trends as well as new standards of quality that the team is renowned for.

Eastbuild Designer Homes won HIA’s pinnacle award for Cairns ‘Home of the Year’ for a complex and sophisticated 2 storey luxury home built on a sloping block in Palm Cove.

The outstanding visual appeal, excellence in workmanship and innovative design impressed the judges, particularly the spectacular cantilevered lap pool with viewing glass.

Eastbuild Designer Homes had a night to remember at the 2020 awards, taking out an ‘impressive’ total of eight awards on their own.

Eastbuild Designer Homes’ successes are also shared by the entire North Queensland region as he secured the much coveted HIA North Queensland “Home of the Year”

The North Queensland HIA–CSR Housing, Kitchen & Bathroom Awards have had a reputation over many years for displaying the very best in tropical housing design and innovation and the tradition has continued with the 2020 winners announced at the award night held in Townsville.

The prestigious title of the HIA-CSR North Queensland Home of the Year was awarded to Cairns’ Eastbuild Designer Homes for their home that took out the Custom Built Home category, after earlier winning Custom Built and Home of the Year at the Cairns awards.

Judges commented on the home having outstanding visual appeal with high quality workmanship throughout… “This professional team at Eastbuild Designer Homes have created this highly sophisticated two storey luxury home, built into a sloping block in Cairns’ prestigious Palm Cove.

Eastbuild Designer Homes have successfully resolved the complexity of the build, resulting in an impressive and innovative home” so comments the overall HIA North Queensland panel of judges. Eastbuild Designer Homes also secured North Queensland Bathroom of the Year for this project.
